Color me disappointed.
The canvas was attached to the wrong/back side of the stretchers/frame so that the staples showed through the front of the canvas! The paint amounts were small, and the quality of the brushes was poor. I might have been able to overlook all of that, given the price of the kit, but when I started to paint and the colors seemed to not match my photo at all, I was at my wits end. I had spent several days working on this painting, and I kept hoping things would look better with more of the painting completed. However, I finally decided that I could not throw more good time and energy after bad. The painting was going to be a disaster.
