My 2nd Diamond Painting – Floral Close-Up | CraftyPaws

There isn’t a whole lot to share about diamond paintings. I find them very therapeutic – little thinking and just place drills methodically to create a fun and fanciful picture (like paint-by-number projects of old). This second diamond painting for me is from Newfrog and was a super close up of a flower in my favorite color blue. For this project I placed the drills in a systematic way – bottom left to right, then upper left to right. Once I got most of a section covered the release/cover film no longer stuck to the canvas, so I was just careful to keep the whole picture covered during breaks so as to not attract dust or dirt.

The following are a series of pictures of the project showing progress over the course of the 2 days it took to complete the project:

The finished piece is posted in the top picture. I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to frame it as-is, or perhaps add a little stamped image of a fairy or something. 🙂 If I change it significantly, I’ll be sure to post the picture on my Instagram: @kristina_craftypaws
