I had a couple more photos of me and my pups at our beach vacation in St. George, FL that I wanted to scrap so I busted out an old DCWV “Photoreal Seasons Stack,” a Sizzix die set called “I Heart This,” and some scrap papers (mostly from the Amy Tangerine “Sketchbook” collection) and got busy.
The video below includes a process video so I won’t go into all the details here, but I wanted to share my favorite parts of this layout. Besides the pictures that really captured the happy feelings of this vacation, my favorite items on this layout are the pleated trim that I created using some crepe paper party streamers and the real sea shells and faux starfish that I think add fun dimension.
Hopefully this starfish is not too thick to fit into a layout sleeve in my album; I did sand down the starfish with a jeweler’s metal file (knocking down about 1/2″) and white washed the starfish to give a cohesive look afterwards.

You know the saying pictures say a million words , well these picture reminds me of the best day of your life . How beautiful the beach was and how happy you were .
