I had a great time at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, GA yesterday. I got some great deals and a few less-than-great buys, but overall I learned loads and loved it! I wish I had had more time to peruse the booths (I barely made it through the floor), but I think I got more out of the 3 classes I took than I would have just shopping. 🙂
I took the Clear Scraps Artist Trading Card Extravaganza Workshop where I learned how to work with acrylics focusing on some Steampunk and vintage pieces. Â I worked on 2 shabby chic or traditional layouts in the Heartfelt Creations Dreaming in Florals Layout Workshop. Â Finally I made some really fun and easy jewelry pieces in the Latest and Greatest from Craft Fantastic Workshop.
The following is a video share of my experience:

I loved watching your video! They don’t have any events like this here in Nova Scotia (that I’m aware of!) and I could just feel your excitement at being able to attend and get the great deals! What fun! I think your best deal was the free stamp set from taking the Heartfelt Creations class. Thank you for your giveaway! I don’t know how to make videos so I will just leave a comment. Thank you so much!
Thanks for playing along! You are entered into the giveaway! 🙂 Hugs, Kristina
Mon Abby Gabby The flowers and bag were a terrific deal. I loved the butterflies and vintage buttons too. I wanted to go there this year, but it did not work out to come down. I live in NJ. I love your Heartfelt Creations layouts. They are gorgeous. I have never learned to do videos so this will be my only entry. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown

By the way, the name of the company where you felt that you spent too much is Sparkle ‘n Sprinkle. I agree they can be overpriced, but they have great things and wonderful techniques!
