One of my first crafty friends on YT was Brenda (YT: Little Raven and designer of digis, Wicked Designs by Brenda). She is celebrating a birthday with a challenge asking folks to make her a decorated Rolodex card (4″ x 2″ and she will punch the holes to ensure it fits in her Rolodex) with information on the back about us so that she can keep a little record of her subbies and crafty friends.
This was super fast and fun to make. I used the Mama Elephant Pandamonium stamp set again and did a little simple Copic coloring with C1, C9 and R30. I fussy cut it out and inked the edges (this is a great finishing touch so that the white edge of the paper is not visible).Then for the background, I chose three washi tapes — hexagonal patterned, spring cherry blossoms, and music note themed. Then for the sentiment, I used one from the same stamp set that seemed to go perfectly with the panda’s outstretched arms: “i love you {thiiiis} much!” I cut it into a banner shape and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick (to match some of the cherry blossoms).
