At the suggestion of my friend, Jenn (YT: ScrapbenaCreations), I decided to draw a digi of a puppy and a kitty who are best buddies. These two are giving each other nose kisses (is it PC to call them Eskimo kisses anymore?).
While I named this digi, “Unlikely Friends,” because I thought cats and dogs were normally natural enemies of one another, it may interest you to know that in fact both dogs and cats are social animals so they often become friends. That is, when there aren’t other animals of the same species around to form a separate dog pack or clowder of cats, it is common for them to befriend each other. Cool, huh?
The card I made was a simple one, but I it was just what I was hoping for to add to my new smash book. The background paper was a custom zentangle, created by my friend Judy (YT: JuJu Pem) and the little strip that the puppy and kitty are “standing on” is just the little scrap piece from the top of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper from a paper pad. The digi was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut out and adhered using foam adhesive tape for a little dimension.
This PL card is being entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
and The Pink Elephant Anything Goes Challenge
Hope you like the free digi and that you are having a great day! WOOF

Cute image and card. Thanks for the digi.
Another beautiful creation. Thank you for the interesting fact about cats/dogs. We adopted a cat in January and already had 2 dogs and now I know why he’s still very standoffish with them! Thanks for sharing your work at The Pink Elephant Challenge! Nance, DT
