I picked up a pack or 40 thin paper plates (they’re easier to hand cut and have the ruffling on the edges that give the feeling of feathers) at the Dollar Tree to make these paper plate doves. This is a really fun and easy craft that you can do with kids. They make fun hangings from ceilings in a child’s room, use at a wedding reception, or even for Christmas dove ornaments. I hung my six up under outdoor patio umbrellas to make a whimsical outdoor mobile of sorts.
To make each bird, you need 2 paper plates, wet glue (like Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue), scissors, and a couple of markers to color in the beaks and eyes.
