One evening while my hubby and I were watching “Doctor Who,” I noticed during a commercial break that my little fur babies, Biscuit and Bandito, were sleeping back to back right beside me and my hubby on the couch. Â I was so thrilled, this was a visible confirmation that we were one big happy family. Â Yes, the siblings may not get along perfectly while they are awake (just like human kids), but they clearly loved each other. Right after I took the picture in this layout, I got up and made my hubby and me ice cream sundaes and gave the fur babies special salmon treats to celebrate. LOL
In this layout, I wanted to capture this special moment. I used three papers from the12 x 12 Dear Lizzy Neopolitan paper pad, which set the color scheme that I tried to carry throughout with all the embellishments. Â I added lots of vintage buttons, generally divided into different mason jars by color, 2 coral hearts (representing Bandito being 2 yo), and 13 mini pearl hearts (representing Biscuit being 13 yo). Â To add color continuity and a casual feeling, I also a little washi tape as if they were holding up the focal picture. Â The final accents are the word “love” in wood that I stained with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain and then coated with Glossy Accents as well as a couple of adorable doggy paper clips.
This will be the facing page to yesterday’s layout in my scrapbook album. They are not matchy-matchy, but they intentionally coordinate nicely. 🙂

Love this layout! Your furbabies are so cute! I love how you put real thought into each element of your page; like the number of buttons for the dog’s ages. Wonderful page!
Thank you! I am all about symbolism and little details. 🙂 When I am old and senile I may not remember all of this, but for now, it makes me so happy. thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet and thoughtful comments! Big hugs, Kristina
Oh my goodness, isn’t it lovely!! It so reminded me of our cocker spaniel, I used to lay on the floor and he’d to the same thing to me, he’d even put his head on my pillow!! They look like little angels. I hope to one day get a photo of my three feline furbabies all laying on me. Thank you so much for being a friend and making me smile. Take Care, God Bless, Love Ya’ Patricia
