I’m sorry I don’t have the words to adequately express my love and profound sadness at losing Biscuit, who passed this past Tuesday, May 15, 2018. I can’t believe she is no longer at my side, but I know she will always be in my heart.
In honor of and in memory of her, I put together this slide show video of her (please forgive the weepy narration – it’s the best I could do):
I am so sorry Christina! My heart is with you! What a beautiful video you made with your Biscuit pictures! I had a cat for fifteen years that was like your Biscuit was to you; had him before I was married, and he was my furry best friend. I believe we will see them again someday. I always pray for Jesus to care for them when they leave me; although, I think he does, whether we pray for it or not! Blessings to you; I will keep you, your husband and Bandito in my prayers! The pain does get better with time; I always try to remind myself that I was fortunate to have ever had him (and other furbabies) in my life. I think God sends us these little angels for a specific reason. Blessings to you! Wish I could give you a hug!
Thank you so very much for your kind and gentle words. I believe you are right in that we were blessed to have them for the time we did and that God is caring for them until we join them. Thank you!
I’m so sorry for your loss. When I lost my Doxie of 14 years I cried for days. He was so loving and just loved to be held like a baby. The sadness does ease but it takes awhile. Take your time and grieve. You have lost a member of your family. He has crossed the rainbow bridge. You will see him again. I believe God will reunite us again in heaven.
Thank you so very much Susan. I believe we will be reunited with our fur babies in heaven as well. I’m still at the crying daily phase, but I have hope that this will lessen as it’s gone already from crying all day to just a couple/few times a day. Thank you!
I’m so sorry for your loss. I know, it’s will be hard for you had biscuit for over 16 years….As for me, lost my sweet dog, Bailey, passed on May 11 2010 and it’s so hard for me and I had to learn the be strong myself over 6 months to heal. She always in my heart forever until I die to see her again at rainbow bridge. Yes it’s will take time to heal and grieve…try be strong with your dog shih-tzu that also need you and give tic if you can…my prayer are with you and family..biscuit will be appreciated and very happy that you gave biscuit great life..you will proud yourself …of course always your baby.
Thank you so very much for your kind words, Barbie. I know Biscuit will be in my heart forever and that we will be reunited in heaven, but for now, my heart aches. I’m so grateful that I have Bandito to help me heal and get through each day. Thank you!
What a beautiful video of your beautiful lil doggie. It’s so very hard when they leave us to walk over the rainbow bridge and i can feel your terrible sad pain. I won’t lie and say it won’t take awhile for the tears to stop, it will come, mayb not for quite a few weeks or even longer still but just try to think of the wonderful memories. I experienced something similar when my sweet doggie passed away. Not a day still goes by that I don’t think of her.
I’m thinking of you, xxx
Thank you so very much Debra. I am trying to keep from being a blubbery mess each day, and while it’s not easier yet, I’ve already gotten better–crying just a few times a day, rather than all day (I don’t think a person can keep crying like that; at some point we dry up, right?). Furry hugs and blessings to you too. Thank you for your kind note and thoughts.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Sending all my thoughts and prayers your way during this difficult time.
Thank you so very much Charity. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
So very sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to you. Nothing anybody will say can make the feeling of loss go away; but, know that others understand and feel for what you are going through! God Bless You!
Thank you so much Dana. I appreciate your kind words and understanding.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I just don’t have words to express how I feel. What a great video of her long and happy life with you. So many wonderful memories to keep in your heart. I believe she will be happy to greet you when it is your turn to cross that bridge. Until then know her spirit is close by, giving you love and strength.
Thank you so much Victoria. Yes, I keep trying to keep thinking of the happy memories rather than about the way I feel her loss right now. The void at times is almost unbearable, but I am thankful that my Bandito is here to help comfort me. hugs, Kristina

Oh Kristina… I’m crying, that was a wonderful video. I’m so sorry for your loss. We have lost too & it never is easy. I have no kids, so they are my 4 legged kids. We lost our sweet doxie Chester & I cried a lot he was almost 14. Hang in there. Thanks for including my name in giveaways too.
Sending Hugs & Love,
Sandra

Your Biscuit was a treasure and it is easy to tell she was treasured.
Time flies as our babies grow old so much quicker than we.
Love to you, Mr. KraftyPaws, and Bandito.

Thank you so very much Lynne. It’s been difficult losing my constant companion, and sometimes I am still overcome and just break down crying, but it is getting easier with the passage of time. Plus I am blessed to have a very understanding husband and my sweet Bandito who has been such a comfort. Furry hugs back to you and your boys, xoxo, Kristina
