How to Mount Red Rubber Unmounted Stamps | CraftyPaws

I recently purchased my first stamps from Purple Onion Designs by Stacey Yacula. They were having a 25% off sale, and I have been eyeing Stacey’s cute critters for quite some time so I couldn’t pass them up!

What I didn’t realize was that they were red rubber unmounted stamps (perhaps that helps explain their generally great prices). But I don’t let the unmounted state of certain stamps dissuade me from buying them (especially when they’re so cute). I used Static Cling Mounting Foam by Rubber Stamp Concepts to quickly and easily mount them. Then I trimmed around them with my favorite stamp cutting KAI Scissors.

I stamped out all the the images to make an image card for all these cutie patootie stamps. Then I salvaged some plastic packaging from my last replacement die cutting mats and used that as a cling base to store the now-mounted stamps. Everything slid easily into my favorite plastic storage sleeves (these seem to have the same durability and thickness as stamps from Simon Says Stamp and Avery Elle but at a fraction of the cost).

The following is a happy mail share and a quick tutorial on how to mount red rubber stamps:

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a wonderful crafty day!
