It’s been a long and wonderful Thanksgiving week. We got our Christmas tree, and it is all decorated up (other than a few new ornies I plan to make in the next few weeks). I was busy online and in-store shopping the last couple of days, but I did get around to coloring up my latest free digi of the week, “PAWSitively Happy Holidays”. I think I am finally starting to feel festive, and I’m getting into the holiday spirit!
I am not into mass producing cards; I am too easily bored. Plus, I feel like if I need to send out a lot (like when I had a very corporate job and used to send hundreds), I can just buy ready-made. XD We don’t send out that many cards so this year I am going to try to make a hand full of unique cards for folks who will appreciate their handmade quality. 🙂
This is a simple card, but it is made with love. I colored up the image with the following Copic colors: Cat: W7, 9 and 1; Pug: E50, 51, 53 and W5 and 7; Cat’s hat and nose: R20 and 22; Pug’s hat: YT17 and 25. I added some Studio G glitter glue to the furry parts of the hats and champagne Stickles for the pug’s bell. Lastly to repeat the green, pink, and champagne of the hats, I used the same colored sequins in different sizes in 3 small clusters. I also layered the image on green card stock and pink patterned paper before adhering it to a white card base. That’s it! Easy peasy!
