This was a quick clean and simple card that I made this morning for my hubby. I was giggling the whole time, and when I gave it to him, he could not stop laughing. YAY! Success!
I used stickers for the sentiment on the front from Studio Calico and Karen Fosters Designs. I stamped out and gold heat embossed a flourish from a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set (to represent the poot), and I did a little faux stitching around the edges of the plain white card stock just to give it a more finished look.
Inside I used a couple of stamps from my Raisinboat.com “Puppy Love” stamp set, the poodle, representing our Biscuit, and the spotted dog (with shortened legs, which I did by masking off the stamp with Scotch tape before inking and taking off the tape before stamping) representing our Bandito. Even though I don’t like my handwriting, I just wrote out their conversation because I figured if dogs can’t type, they certainly couldn’t write prettily either! LOL
I think the card came out super cute and I really think my hubby liked it. He took it right up to his office to put on his desk. š
The following is a video share of this card:
This card is also being entered into the Ribbon Carousel Blog Challenge 94 and

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a great day! WOOF

My husband and I took cake decorating classes. We were making cakes for every occasion at that time. We complimented each other well with our decorating. I could make velvet smooth frosting and he made wonderful frosting roses. We made a Father’s day cake one year. My husband is not the best speller. He wrote, “Happy Fater’s Day” on the cake. It is a fun memory. Thanks for you fun project.
