I am in love with these adorable fairy tale princess images from The Greeting Farm. They are so fun to Copic color and with a few little lines, they can be altered easily too!
I used “Beauty” to create the farewell to summer part of this flip-it card, altering her with a Copic multiliner pen to make it look like she is holding a big popsicle  (rather than a rose) and wearing a little skirted bikini (rather than a princess dress).  I colored her up using these cool Copic colors:
Hair: C3, 5, 8 and 10
Pupils: B34 and 97
Blue parts of clothes: B32, 34 and 39
Blue green parts of clothes: BG10, 13 and 15
Popsicle: BV02, BV04 and BG10
I made the back to school part of the flip-it card with “Fairest,” who I colored up using these warm Copic colors:
Hair: W3, 5, 7, and 9
Pupils: E57 and 59
White parts of clothes: W1 and 0
Pink parts of clothes: RV21, 25, 29 and 69
Yellow parts of clothes: Y11, Y15, Y17, and E15
Apple: YG01, YG03, R32, R35 and R29
For both girls, I used E50, 51, 53 and R20 for their skin, used clear Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to the dark parts of their outfits, and Glossy Accents to add shine to their eyes and to the food they were holding. I also gave the girls a cartoony wood floor to stand on that I drew in with dots and lines with a Copic multiliner pen.  To keep the backgrounds consistently cool on cool and warm on warm, I inked the background for Beauty with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers and the background for Fairest in Wild Honey.
I created the flip-it card using a 11″ x 6″ white card stock base that I scored along the long axis at 2.75,” 3.75,” and 5.5.”  I layered the base with scrap patterned paper from my scrap box. Then I used the 3rd and 4th largest scalloped circle dies from the Diemond Dies Scalloped Circle Nesting Die Set (currently 36% off at only $15.99!) to create the flipping part of the card (I show how to create a flip it card in THIS VIDEO and a Triple Flip It Card in THIS VIDEO).  My readers can get an extra 10% off and free worldwide shipping at Diemond Dies by using the coupon code “thankskristina” at checkout.
