I decided to try my hand at making some paper versions of those adorable Minions for my friend’s sponsorship of her local public library’s summer reading program for children K-8th grade. The characters themselves are so simple that creating these was just a matter of hand cutting out some simple shapes from card stock and denim patterned paper (short strips for hair, squares and rectangles for overalls, and simple boots), using a corner rounder and gluing on some google eyes from the dollar store.

So cute. I think I will make some for a teacher friend since I’m not teaching anymore myself. I can also add some to cards for children in the hospital. They will make them smile! thanks for sharing.
