Christmas in July (3 of 3) | CraftyPaws

Ok, this may be the fastest and cutest Christmas card yet. LOL

This card was made with a wood grain and white chevron patterned paper base. Then like the prior 4 Christmas cards, I embossed white card stock with a snowflake patterned embossing folder. Using the fabulous Diemonddies Labels 1 Nesting die (see coupon code below), I cut out a fanciful window from the embossed paper to create a place for the adorable little gingy to pop out and say HI!

The gingy is a Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix die that I picked up at Tuesday Morning on clearance for under $2! I used some white card stock scraps to punch out circles for the eyes and hearts for the buttons. Then I free hand cut out the little smile. The collar and cuff frosting was from the die. Just placing the gingy’s hands over the edges of the window makes him look like he is jumping out ready for fun.

This card was super easy and could not have been faster to assemble (once I thought about how I wanted the face and buttons to look). These will definitely be in my holiday card arsenal this coming season.

The following is a video share of all 5 of my recent Christmas in July cards:

If you are interested in making a purchase at Diemonddies, please use the coupon code “thankskristina” for an extra 10% off your entire purchase and free shipping worldwide for orders over $35!
