Sorry for not getting up this ATC yesterday. I spent the better part of the day in the ER. I have a kidney infection. I am on good meds and I seem to be improving quickly, but I need to take it easy for a while. I hope you’ll understand if I don’t reply to all comments or don’t get up as many posts.
I did want to share this ATC, which I’ve titled, “Shelter Shield Hope”. It is relatively simple, just chipboard covered with some torn patterned paper scraps, some metal embellishment corners, a stained and Glossy Accented wood veneer typewriter (to match the strip of patterned paper in the middle), and the beautiful quote from the Bible. I printed up the verse using a free typewriter font and distressed the edges, which I had cut using a pair of Fiskars paper edger scissors in Deckle. The quote is from Psalm 119:114 and reads, “You are my shelter and my shield; I put my hope in your word.”
I had worked on the ATC for a couple of days for a crafty friend who has very strong faith, but it seemed very fitting for the kind of day I had.
The following is a video share of this ATC:
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. WOOF
