Altered Stick Pins – Eye Candy | CraftyPaws

Those outside the crafting community might not know anything about using stick pins as embellies. I certainly didn’t until I joined the YT crafting community almost 2 years ago. These are so much fun to make and add to projects like cards, alter projects or just to keep on your craft desk in a pin cushion for eye (“I”) candy.

I decided to make a Shabby Chic style batch for my friend Vonny (YT: MyDivineGrace) as a little celebratory gift to commemorate her reaching over 300 YT subbies. I love just being able to play with different beads, bead caps, rondelles, charms, and dangles and let my tastes dictate the various combinations I can come up with. Really, you are only limited by your own “imagination.” 🙂

The following video is a process video in which I discuss my thought process while making a stick pin:

These stick pins are being entered into the following challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Anything Goes Challenge
Simon Says Stamp Monday “I” Challenge
613 Avenue Create Anything Goes with an Optional Shabby Chic Challenge

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful crafty day! WOOF
