Combining my love of dogs with my passion for upcycling (making old things new again and (hopefully) even better than originally), this altered jars project was extra special for me. This is also my entry into Jamie’s (YT: ScrappinStampers) Not2ShabbyShop‘s DT call. Fingers crossed! ๐ ย ย **UPDATE**: I made the design team! YEA!
I used adorable dog stamps from the Some Odd Girl Hipster Pets set, the Some Odd Girl Preppy Pups set, and the Tiddly Inks I Wuf You set. Along with N10 for the noses and RV52 for the tongues, the following are the Copic colors I used:
Pug: E50, 51, 53, and W5, 7, and 9
Chocolate and tan Chihuahua: E31, 33, 74, 79
White Fluffy Dog: W1 and W3 withย E07 heart
Dachshund: E21, 23, 25
Black, tan, and white Chihuahua (shown in the video): W7, W9, E31, and E33
Dalmatian (shown in video): W1, 3, and 9
Lots of the papers and trims were gifted to me so I don’t know all the brands, but I do know that the paper I used for the yellow jar is from the Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs 8″ x 8″ collectionย and the twine I used for the green and blue jars are the Peapod and Midnight blue from The Twinery. ย I describeย all the adhesives (lots of Matte Mod Podge, E6000ยฎ Craft Adhesive, and hot glue), tools (like the Martha Stewart Hugs & Kisses edge punch), and decorative pieces I used on this project in the following video, which also includes a tutorial for how to cover jar lids:
