I’ve had this sweet Stampendous wood stamp called Puppy Present in my stash for years, and although I’m probably just as guilty of wanting the cutest latest release stamps, I do try to rotate through my older stamps from time to time.

This oldie but goodie is absolutely adorable and super versatile. I think it may have been originally designed as a birthday stamp, but by just changing around the colors of the present a bit, it makes a wonderful holiday stamp too! For this CAS (Clean And Simple) card, I used one of my favorite holiday color combinations: blue-green, red, tan and white and these are the Copic colors: Lastly, even though I wanted a very CAS look, I decided to finish off the opening side of the card with a couple strips of washi tape. These are two from the 6 pack tube of Heidi Swapp washi that I picked up at Michaels for $3 during their 70% off sale a couple days ago. I love it when I can also use something immediately after buying it at a great price! (seems to justify unnecessary craft shopping a bit–LOL).

This card is being entered into the following challenges:

Blue-green: BG32, 23 and 15

Red: R22, 35, 37 and 59

Tan Puppy: E50, 51, 31 and 55

Cast shadow: N1, 3 and 7

I added some highlight marks with a Sakura white gelly roll pen, and I think those few lines and dots really make the image pop.
