I made two more kids’ bookmarks with another super cute mini front and back stamp set by Art Impressions (check out the watercolor stamped critter ones I did in the prior post HERE<\/a><\/span>). This time I used the Boy & Girl Mini Set<\/a><\/span>. Because I wanted to make sure I could keep the look of more detailed hair and facial features (and my watercoloring is not that good–LOL), I decided to color up these cuties with Copic markers.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n I used the following colors: I also picked out a couple of general reading quotes that I thought could be encouraging to the third graders these will be little prizes for and printed them out on my computer: For the bookmark bases, I used some wood plank patterned paper that had a shiny coating on it from my scrap box and adhered two pieces back sides together to create a sturdy base. Then I fussy cut the front and back colored images and glued them on top as if the kiddies were leaning up on a tall wooden fence. On the back sides, I used up more scrap patterned paper in my scrap box that coordinated with the colors I used on the boy and girl and matted the printed sentiments.
