<\/a>I had a couple more photos of me and my pups at our beach vacation in St. George, FL that I wanted to scrap so I busted\u00a0out an old DCWV “Photoreal Seasons Stack,” a Sizzix die set called “I Heart This,” and some scrap papers (mostly from the Amy Tangerine “Sketchbook” collection) and got busy.<\/p>\n

The video below includes a process video so I won’t go into all the details here, but I wanted to share\u00a0my favorite parts of this layout. Besides the pictures that really captured the happy feelings of this vacation, my favorite items on this layout are the pleated trim that I created using some crepe paper party streamers and the real sea shells and\u00a0faux starfish that I think add fun dimension.<\/p>\n

Hopefully this starfish is\u00a0not too thick to fit into a layout sleeve in my album; I did sand down the starfish with a jeweler’s metal file (knocking down about 1\/2″) and white washed the starfish to give a cohesive look afterwards.<\/p>\n
