I hate to let anything go to waste, esp. if it is beautifully embossed or patterned papers. I save scraps in a small scrap box and try to keep them in check by limiting myself to trying to use paper from that box before I cut into any new papers. I really am very disciplined about this. 🙂

From my Christmas in July cards that I made last week, I had the inside die cut window pieces that I decided to make into little tags. I punched a little hole at one end, through which I looped ribbons, lace, and/or eyelash trim. Because the die cut pieces were embossed, I cut smaller pieces using the same die (Diemonddies.com’s Labels 1 Nesting Die – 4th from largest) and adhered that to the back.

ASIDE: As a Guest Design Team member for Diemonddies.com, I have a coupon code for you all!
