Due to tropical storm Irma (yes, it was downgraded by the time it passed my area), we were without any power, hot water, etcetera for about 4 days. All the best laid plans for crafty projects flew out the door (along with lots of spoiled food). We were very lucky to not have any serious damage or injuries to our families or our homes (several of our relatives on both sides of our family live in the area). I hope you and yours were safe, and my prayers and well wishes go out to all those who suffered in the Southeast and Texas.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Before the sunset on a couple of days, I was able to squeeze in a little Copic coloring and participate a bit in Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge<\/a><\/span>. I felt so fortunate and thankful to be able to escape a little through crafting and for the encouragement from our wonderful crafty community (I did get to post a couple of pics on\u00a0my Instagram<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and the crafty love was palpable).<\/p>\n

I colored up a couple more of those sweet C.C. Designs 4 Leaf Puppy<\/a><\/span> images. I added them to a couple of 3D Paper House stickers that I hope to use on mini albums that I am planning to make for my sister, niece and myself to commemorate our girls’ start-of-summer vacation trip to Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland (OMGEE I’ve done so little on these projects and it’s already fall – I’ve got to get a move on!). The top puppy I’d colored up previously, but the other two I colored up with the following Copic colors:
\nWhite spot on eye puppy: E33, E23 and R30 for inside ears; orange collar: YR00, YR02, YR07; and shamrock: G43, G14, G19
\nGray and white puppy: E41, E43, E44 and R30 for inside ears;\u00a0orange collar: YR00, YR02, YR07; and shamrock: G43, G14, G19<\/p>\n

Hopefully now that we have electricity again, I’ll be able to get my house back in order and dive back into my craft room this weekend. \ud83d\ude42
